The kitchen renovation is almost complete. The counter space is finished, the new fridge moved out into its own 'cubby'. Cost exceeded the approved amount by approximately $1,000 and the fridge died out of respect because it was unable to live up to the upgrade and so required the further expenditure for a new unit. The only question that now remains is if we should spend the additional cost of a new stove and hood vent. We are currently seeking estimates. Given these additional costs, we will need your approval. So, we would like to plan a celebratory lunch for October 23 at 11.30 and invite you all to inspect the results and advise on future expenditures. Details of a celebratory catered lunch will be circulated closer to the date. We will also be able to provide next steps for the continuation of effort to revive the BCOAP. The motion to dissolve the organization was rejected and meetings are now planned for moving forward.
Membership is due for 2025.
